Tactics
Season 1 // The Archive

TwitcHack ran on a flat leveling curve through Season 1: every 100 points = 1 level. With no scaling, the leaderboard inflated fast — top players hit 100,000+ levels, which made "level" a less meaningful number than "still here."

Season 2 launched with a progressive curve: each level requires more points than the last. Reaching level 5 still happens in your first session; reaching level 100 is now a real grind. The full curve: total points required for level N = 50 × N × (N − 1)

Existing levels were recomputed under the new curve, but every player who registered before the reset earned a permanent FOUNDER badge tied to their final Season 1 level. New players post-reset cannot earn one — these badges are forever.
